Licence agreement

The terms in writing — a document to download, sign and return.

A licence agreement is being prepared. This page will carry an explanation of the terms and the text of the agreement itself, as a document you can download, sign and return.

What it will cover

  • What you are licensing to us — which recordings, charts and lessons, and for how long.
  • What we may do with them — hold them, serve them to people you have entitled, and nothing else.
  • How access is granted and withdrawn — by you, by name or by course, and reversible at any time.
  • The tip-jar share — 50-50 by whose material was in use, split proportionately where a student's practice spans several instructors.
  • How either side ends it, and what happens to your material when it does.

In the meantime

Everything the agreement will formalise is already described in plain language on the other pages in this section, and the engineering behind it is set out in IP protection. Nothing in the agreement will come as a surprise to anyone who has read those.

If you would like to see a draft before it is finished, or you have terms of your own you need reflected, say so — it is easier to write them in now than to amend later.
